aunt want to get her to Thailand for visiting she is so much excited because it
is her first time to board a plane. They wait for Bangladesh Biman in the

in cool breeze. Mita’s dream comes true.
A floating
market is
a market where goods are sold from boats. It was established by Chinese traders. In the past, people from
inland areas brought their agricultural produce or handicrafts to sell. They
bartered with people from the coastal areas. Nowadays, people can buy things
such as fruit, vegetables, traditional cakes and even clothes from this market.
Another unique feature of these markets is the time of trading. It begins
around 5 a.m. and finishes at 9a.m. It is still going strong. Travelers and
visitors can find traditional Thai food here, as well as locally produced fruit
and vegetables and other food products. Floating Market remains a real gem for
visitors who are searching for the “real” Thailand.
Mita read about the floating market in the internet, and wanted to see it. They decide to go to the Tha Kha floating market inBankok. On Sunday they started for Thaka Kha floating market. They planned to have breakfast at the market. They reached the market place sharp at 7am. The canals were surrounded with coconut palm trees. They hired a boat. The boatman started to row slowly taking them to the centre of the market. Everywhere are boats and boats. The sellers were mainly elderly Thai women. Their small boats were laden with bundles of lotus flowers, farm-fresh coconuts, fruits, vegetables, local food, and delicious sweets. The sellers and buyers rowed their boats slowly. The sellers displayed their goods for sale and the buyers chose their pick. They could have a little chit-chat as buying and selling was going on.

Originally,
the Tha Kha floating market used to sit only six or seven days a month
depending on the phase of the moon. Now a days, the trade takes place on
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays too. The main buyers here are the Tha Kha
natives. People seem to know each other very well. Everyone was seen smiling
and calling each other by name. The locals did not notice Mita and others much.
They were all busy buying and selling.
Enjoying
the business for a long time they were hungry. They rowed near the boat of an
elderly woman, who was selling food. She welcomed them with a smile and showed
them the foods. The Tha Kha people are simple and easy going. They are very
friendly and polite.Mita was delighted to see a traditional Thai floating
market. She took a lot of pictures with the elderly sellers.
Trees
are very much important for our existence. They are closely related to our
life. Without trees we do not get oxygen which is very much related to the
existence of human beings as well as other animals. Tree plantation is a major
issue at this moment over the world. Trees are one of the main elements working
to save our environment. Reckless cutting down of trees and deforestation are
harming our climate and ecosystem tremendously. The world’s temperatures are
getting warmer gradually. It is a global concern. Plantation of trees is thus a
crying need of the time. Other than the aforesaid issue, trees come to our help
in many ways. Trees take in carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. Fruit-bearing
trees provide us with many types of fruits for our good health. Herbal trees
are useful for treating diseases. They give us shade and reduce our tiredness.
Sufficient trees cause rainfall and prevent draught. Trees along the roadside
and coastal areas prevent erosion and tidal bore. They give us fire woods as
fuel for cooking. They are used as timber for making eye-catering furniture.
They are even used for railway slippers and they produce rubber too. Trees help
us to fight natural disasters like flood, cyclone, earthquake, etc. But many
inconsiderate people cut down trees randomly. But now- a-days people are
conscious about the importance of tress and the government is trying its utmost
to raise the awareness of the people about this matter. As a result tree is now
being planted and we observe the tree plantation day every year. June and July
are the best time for tree plantation. Besides our garden or home sides tress
are being planted by the side of the road and highways. Attempts should be make
the programme grand success so that we can live in a better world and Massive
awareness is essential among people for tree plantation.

I
got an opportunity to visit from Chittagong to Saudi Arabia by flight on
January 02nd, 2013. This was my first flight experience. My Dad and I reached
the airport at 8:30 PM. Our flight BG 345 was scheduled to leave at 9:30 PM. So
we had our dinner at the airport itself. The flight was on time and luckily I
got the window seat. So I had an extra benefit in my first experience. We were
ready and waiting for the take off. Firstly the plane went on the run way till
the opposite end and all the while I was feeling as if I am sitting in a bus.
But finally it took an about-turn and the speed increased exponentially. Within
a few seconds we were high, up in the sky. The view was breath-taking. The
roads seemed like bright lighted lines, the houses and cars seemed like toys.
Even the clouds were below us. The actual city looked like a toy model of a
city. My ears were humming initially when the plane increased the height, but
later on everything was fine.
Almost everyone was asleep, but I was so happy and excited that I could not even think of sleeping Again there was similar view from the top. Time just flew and very soon we landed at Jeddah. The Jedda airport is awesome. A bus dropped us till the airport. So May planes were lined up there. Our plane was at 72 numbered stop so you can imagine the view. There was so much rush at the airport that it seemed like a railway station I must admit that I am in love with Jeddah at first sight. Even at night the city looked so beautiful and well maintained. It is like heaven for a nature lover like me. It was so cool and pleasant that unknowingly I fell asleep in the taxi and missed the night view.I thoroughly enjoyed myself all the while.

health is wealth. One can enjoy the life and its beauty by possessing a good
health. One can accumulate much wealth through hard effort. But, once the
health goes out of control many problems may crop up. Thanks to the development
of science and technology we can enjoy and make up good health.
The
science of good health starts with the journey of eating right food at the
right time. The place is also considered. The proper hygiene place also
occupies an important role in developing good health. People generally avoid
dirty places and unhygienic environment. Balanced diet has to be maintained as
schedule in our busy life.
Some
people do skip breakfast and try to make any lunch which is not at all good
from the health point of view. Having a breakfast is better than having right
away lunch. Empty stomach sometimes may lead to various disorders. The art of
managing health can be better understood by visiting to a Dietician, who may
provide us with valuable suggestions what to eat and the quantity of intake.
Exercise
may also help in digestion and lot of calories is burnt during the same.

for all. The practice of yoga regularly helps in keeping oneself fit and helps
in reducing the mental tension.
Today’s
life is very busy with lot of works to be done. It may not be possible for some
people to look after their health at all the time. But trying to chalk out a
programme for health purpose will help a lot. Nothing is better than keeping
good health. Finally health brings happiness and joy not only in our life and
also on the dependents.
The
word ‘hygiene’ means the practice of keeping ourselves clean. Merriam-Webster’s
Medical Dictionary defines hygiene as practices conducive to health. It also
means to keep our home and work places clean. It is important for our good
health. Poor personal hygiene can cause skin diseases and worm infestations,
diarrheal diseases and dental diseases. Proper personal hygiene not only keeps
you looking and smelling clean, but can also prevent the spread of infection.
Hygiene is thought to be next to godliness. It is because we cannot achieve
anything physically, mentally or spiritually if we are unclean in our body,
mind and soul.
Nobody likes an unclean person either. So we must follow the rules of hygiene. First, we must keep our body clean. We should have a bath every day and wash our hair regularly. This will keep the body and hair free from dirt and bacteria. Secondly, we should wash our clothes regularly. Dirty clothes give off bad smell and invite germs. We should wear socks and shoes when we go out to protect our feet from dust and germs. It is also important to wash our hands before meals and after using the toilet. We should brush our teeth twice a day, after breakfast and supper. We must also cut our nails regularly. Our drinking water must be pure. We can get pure water by boiling and filtering. Thirdly, We should cook food in clean utensils and always cook fresh vegetables after cleaning them properly. Maintaining food hygiene is good for your health. Don’t eat food beyond expiry date.
Finally, we should keep our surroundings and environment clean. If we do and follow all the above things properly, we will be able to lead a healthy and happy life.

In
ancient Rome – a public place where meetings were held it is called forum.
Originally forum means a place where people can exchanges opinions and ideas on
particular issue.According to our textbook we see the student of class eight
and stay in the school till last hour. In the tiffin hour they take their
tiffin in the class room. Sometimes they sharpen their pencil with sharpener
and sometimes they tear pages. For this, every day the class room is to be
cleaned by the cleaner of the school. One day he was absent. The class teacher
entered the class room and saw the class room was so dirty. He told the
students that they should keep their class room neat and tidy however the
school cleaner absent or present so what. Because, the classroom is their study
room. And every student should keep their classroom neat and tidy every time.
It is their own duty. The student was influenced by their class teacher advice.
The class captain made a forum and selected a leader and then divided the
cleaning activities among different groups. For the purpose of their classroom
clean and hygienic they also decided to make some ground rules. All of the
students are obliged to obey those rules. Those rules are:
• Do not spit in the class.
• Do not drop litter in the class.
• Use the bin for trash.
• Keep the desks and chairs in place.
All
the students are very excited to be a member of the forum and involved
themselves in the activity of their school.
Food Nutrition
Food nutrition is a key element in maintaining our overall physical well being. We must always pay attention to the foods that we eat because they will eventually impact our health, for better or for worst. We have more information available about the benefits of every particular food group than we’ve ever had before, which is why we also have a bigger responsibility than ever before to make assertive and responsible food choices.
Carbohydrates, fats and proteins have each got a specific function to serve in our bodies. The key to good health lies in maintaining balanced food nutrition. Our body transforms carbohydrates to sugar that gives in the necessary energy to perform daily activities such as work, study, or exercise. Carbohydrates can be found in fruits, and in whole grain bread, pasta, and rice. Proteins are the main components of the muscles of our body. Foods that provide protein include red meat, white meat, nuts, and dairy products. Doctors recommend eating more white meat such as fish and chicken than red meat.We must take care of our health, we must seek to achieve and maintain a strong, flexible and vital physique. I cannot emphasize enough the positive benefits that food nutrition and regular exercise have upon our emotional and physical well being. Adults should teach children healthy eating habits because when you learn something from a small age it becomes a custom and you are more likely to follow this custom for the rest of your life.
LOAD
SHEDDING
Nowadays load-shedding
is almost a daily occurrence in cities and suburbs. There is hardly any area
which is not affected by it. Cinema houses, shops, factories, hospitals are
fall affected by it. The industrial units are paralyzed for the time being.
Production is hampered due to failure of electricity. Even operation stops in
hospitals for load – shedding. The students close their books and sit idly in
darkness. They curse the authorities especially if electricity fails before
their examination. In fact, the problem of load – shedding is a great problem
our country. Students are badly affected for it. It should not be allowed to
continue in the present manner. The whole country is bound to collapse if the
present condition of load-shedding is not improved. So the government should
think over the matter deeply and take necessary steps to check it as early as
possible.
