Rules Relating to essay Writting
When we write an
essay then we should follow some rules. These rules are very important for
writing an essay. Here we set a complete model of an essay as example with it’s
rules. And explain about these…………………….
Step -1
1. Every essay will contain a thesis
sentence, and this thesis sentence will contain five or seven (5-7) elements.
(Theses sentence can be defined as
the summary of the essay .And when the teacher read this sentence then he could
understand the theme of the essay at a glance.)
2 .These elements will be the topic
sentence for every paragraph.
3 .Every elements will have a topic
sentence.
4. This thesis sentence will be
include in the introduction.
5. The conclusion will be the
restatement of the introduction in other words.
Step-2
Modes of development……………..
1. Definition.
2. Example.
3. Compare and contrast.
4. Cause and effect.
5. Narrative and Descriptive.
6. Classification and Division.
Example
Now we can try to create an essay
according to the rules mentioned above……………..

“Corruption “so, at first we give a title….. Then we move on according to the
rules…
Corruption\Corruption in
Bangladesh
Corruption is a curse for any
country. It is also a major problem of our country. Bangladesh has been branded
as the most corrupt country in the world for consecutive 2001, 2002 and 2003 by
Transparency International. Both privet and public sectors of our country are
influenced by corruption. So-called politics, misuse
of power, and Nepotism are the main cause of corruption and for these this
reasons illiteracy, unemployment and economic problem of our country are
increasing day by day.
এখানে আমরা Corruption
এর introduction লিখেছি . নিয়মানুযায়ী Thesis sentence কে introduction এর মধ্যে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে. এখানে underline কৃত অংশ হল Thesis sentence . আসলে Thesis sentence ই হল essay এর মূল অংশ.এখানে ৫ ,৬, অথবা ৭টি point উল্লেখ করা হয়. এবং সম্পূর্ন essay
জুড়েই এর আলোচনা করা হয়.আমাদের Thesis sentence টি নিয়ে আলোচনা করলে বিষয়টি আরো
পরিষ্কার হয়ে যাবে.
Thesis sentence-এ যে point গুলো উল্লেখ করা হয় সেখানে কারন, ফলাফল,এবং
প্রতিকারের উপায় বর্ণনা করা হয়.অমাদের Thesis
sentence কে কারন এবং ফলাফল
এর সাহায্যে সাজানো হয়েছে.যেখানে কারন ৩ টি এবং ফলাফল ৩টি.
কারন তিনটি হল :- So-called
politics(তথা-কথিত রাজনীতী),
misuse of power(ক্ষমতার অপব্যবহার),
and Nepotism(স্বজনপ্রীতি).
ফলাফল ৩টিএবং হল :- illiteracy(নিরক্ষরতা), unemployment( বেকারত্ব) and economic problem(অর্থনৈতিক সমস্যা).
এখন এগুলোকে Modes
of development এর সাহায্যে আলোচনা করতে হবে.এতে প্রত্যেকটি point
ভিন্ন ভিন্ন প্যারা হবে.ফলে introduction
এবং conclusion সহ আমাদের আলোচ্য essay টির মোট point হবে ৮টি. তবে প্রত্যেক Essay তে ৮টি হতে হবে একথা অযৌক্তিক.point সংখ্যা ৭,৮,৯,১০ হতে পারবে.এটি writing speed এর উপর নির্ভরশীল.
Modes of development এর থেকে ৪,৫,৬টির সাহায্যে ১টি Para
তৈরি করতে হবে.তবে প্রতিটি para তে আবশ্যই topic sentence থাকতে হবে.
